Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid SLP-CCC certification or active SLPA license (Washington state credentials required)
  • Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students, strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices for pediatric speech and language therapy
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet a range of student needs and learning styles

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapeutic interventions and assessments for a caseload of 44-50 elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and track student progress toward individualized IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Collaborate with general and special education staff to maximize student engagement and success
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented school environment
