Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid SLP-CCC certification or active SLPA license (Washington state credentials required)
- Prior experience in a school setting, especially with elementary-aged students, strongly preferred
- Knowledge of IEP processes and best practices for pediatric speech and language therapy
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, administrators, and parents
- Ability to adapt interventions to meet a range of student needs and learning styles
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapeutic interventions and assessments for a caseload of 44-50 elementary students
- Develop, implement, and track student progress toward individualized IEP goals
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Collaborate with general and special education staff to maximize student engagement and success
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented school environment
