Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students near Gig Harbor, WA as a Speech-Language Pathologist. You’ll help foster communication skills and developmental progress for a diverse caseload of up to 50 students, ranging in age from preschool to young adult (PK–22 years). Be ready to begin the week of 8/24/26—training and prep may be required before the first official day of school on 8/31/26. The contract is scheduled to run through 6/16/27, with the potential to extend to 6/23/27 in the event of snow make-up days. Expect a schedule of 37.5 hours per week, with site assignment to be determined prior to the start date.

Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Washington state SLP licensure (or eligibility)
  • Experience working with school-aged populations, including preschool through age 22
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a caseload efficiently
  • CCC-SLP preferred, though strong CFY candidates may be considered

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy services to your assigned caseload
  • Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and document progress
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Attend IEP and team meetings as required
  • Contribute to a supportive, inclusive educational environment
