Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly desirable
- Strong organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Adaptable and compassionate approach to working with students of varied backgrounds and ability levels
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement targeted treatment plans for speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Provide both one-on-one and group therapy sessions tailored to IEP goals
- Work as an integral part of multidisciplinary teams to support academic and social success
- Maintain detailed and timely documentation of services and student progress
- Engage families and caregivers in the therapeutic process, offering resources and strategies for continued growth
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings and professional development activities
