Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech Language Pathologist, supporting students from preschool through post-secondary levels. This short-term assignment runs from June 15th to July 16th and is ideal for both seasoned SLP-CCC professionals and recent graduates in their Clinical Fellowship Year (SLP-CF). With a manageable caseload of 60 students, you’ll make a meaningful impact in a school-based setting close to Gilroy, CA.

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • SLP-CCC or SLP-CF (Candidates actively in their Clinical Fellowship Year encouraged)
  • Experience working with pediatric populations in a school-based environment preferred
  • Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload across multiple educational levels
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide targeted evaluations, individualized therapy, and intervention plans for students with varied communication needs
  • Address speech, language, voice, and fluency concerns for a range of ages, from preschoolers to post-secondary learners
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to enhance students’ educational outcomes
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance with IEP requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute expertise in multidisciplinary settings
  • Foster a positive, inclusive environment that empowers students to express themselves confidently

Schedule:

  • Part-time, 20 hours per week
  • 5 hours per day, Monday through Thursday
