Explore rewarding opportunities serving students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive school environment. There are two contract openings available—one rural SLP position requiring travel between school locations, working with TK through 8th grade students, and one preschool SLP role based at a single site, supporting children ages 3-5. Each position manages a caseload of approximately 35-45 students, fostering language and communication skills crucial for student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Experience working with school-aged children or preschoolers strongly preferred
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and intervention skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Flexibility for rural SLPs to travel between multiple school sites as needed

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and deliver individualized speech and language services for assigned caseloads
  • Develop, implement, and monitor progress on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support students' educational goals
  • Provide direct intervention in individual and small group settings
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal regulations
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and review processes
  • For the rural SLP opening: manage a travel schedule to cover several rural schools, ensuring continuity of services
  • For the preschool SLP opening: provide focused support at a single location, specializing in early childhood development
