Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Gilroy, CA

Exciting opportunities are available for two Speech-Language Pathologists dedicated to supporting student growth in a dynamic elementary setting for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. These full-time, contract positions require expertise in school-based SLP services and offer a consistent schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:45 pm, from August 19, 2026, through June 11, 2027.

You’ll work with a range of elementary-aged students, focusing on either a single-site assignment or a mixed resource specialist program (RSP) and special day class (SDC) caseload. This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with a supportive educational team and play a vital role in enhancing communication outcomes for children.

Desired Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Current CCC-SLP or eligibility for clinical fellowship (CF) year
• Valid state licensure (or ability to obtain before start date)
• Prior experience in school settings preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy and evaluations for students with diverse speech and language needs
• Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and contribute to multi-disciplinary teams
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, RSP, SDC staff, and families to support student success
• Maintain precise records and timely documentation
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and district activities as needed
