Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Screen, assess, and diagnose students with speech-language, communication, and swallowing disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and services provided
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
  • Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to student needs
  • Offer consultative support and in-service training to school staff as needed
