Make an impact supporting students as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract opportunity close to Glen Allen, VA. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting highly valued
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Screen, assess, and diagnose students with speech-language, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, progress, and services provided
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews
- Provide direct therapy services, both individual and group, tailored to student needs
- Offer consultative support and in-service training to school staff as needed
