Desired Expertise:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
  • Familiarity with IEP development and case management

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy services to students according to their IEP goals
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student learning
  • Track students’ progress and adjust interventions as necessary
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions
