Desired Expertise:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, support staff, and families
- Familiarity with IEP development and case management
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify students' speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide direct therapy services to students according to their IEP goals
- Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in compliance with district and state requirements
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student learning
- Track students’ progress and adjust interventions as necessary
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions
