Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain
- Previous school-based experience strongly preferred
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to evidence-based and student-centered therapy
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and screenings to determine communication needs for students
- Develop, implement, and manage individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide direct therapy services in individual and group settings within the school environment
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district regulations
- Participate in IEP meetings and other student-centered activities as needed
