A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a K-12 school located in Glendale, AZ, for the current school year (CSY) on a contract basis. This role is ideal for an SLP with a passion for working with children in an educational setting and providing speech and language therapy to support student success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student development
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Participate in school meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams

Qualifications:

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in a school setting
  • Eligibility for or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language developmental milestones and disorders affecting children in grades K-12
  • Ability to engage and motivate students while maintaining a professional and compassionate approach
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
