Ideal Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
- Previous experience in school settings or with pediatric populations preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in teletherapy, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and evidence-based interventions for children with Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Comfortable working both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, voice, and communication disorders for a diverse K-8 caseload
- Designing and implementing individualized therapy plans based on IEP goals
- Collaborating closely with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to ensure continuity of care and progress
- Maintaining comprehensive, timely documentation for each student in compliance with program and district standards
- Actively contributing to IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapting therapy delivery methods to meet each student’s unique needs, including the use of teletherapy platforms if required
