This opportunity, starting late July 2026 and running through May 2027, offers the chance to impact young lives near Glendale, AZ—working in one building or serving K–8 students with the possibility of working with middle schoolers. You'll benefit from working a consistent 37.5-hour week and will have SLPA support, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Experience or strong interest in working with pediatric and school-aged populations
- Arizona state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start)
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Previous school-based or clinical pediatric SLP experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for K–8 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to student needs
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other service providers to maximize student outcomes
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs to enhance service delivery
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school and state requirements
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
