Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona SLP license
- Teaching Certification
- Arizona Fingerprint Card (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Experience with pediatric and school-based Speech Language Pathology, including SLP-CFY or SLP-CCC credentials
- Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for working with children of varied backgrounds and needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to students according to Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Perform comprehensive assessments and create targeted intervention strategies for students with communication disorders
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support students' learning and communication goals
- Participate in IEP meetings, document progress, and maintain required reports in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Provide guidance, training, and consultation for school staff regarding communication development
