Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain for speech-language pathology
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or in pursuit of CFY with strong mentorship desire
  • Previous experience in school settings or pediatric caseloads is highly desirable
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and implementing evidence-based therapy
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptability to meet diverse needs in both individual and group sessions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with educational goals
  • Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and provide regular updates to staff and families
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and other specialists
  • Offer strategies, resources, and recommendations for classroom support
  • Advocate for students’ needs and foster a supportive learning environment
