Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain it
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
  • Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and AAC devices is a plus
  • Background in pediatric and teletherapy settings is advantageous

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, cognition, and swallowing to identify needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide therapy in-person and via teletherapy platforms
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as required
  • Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support holistic care
