Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA or eligibility to obtain it
- State licensure or eligibility for licensure in California
- Experience in school-based speech therapy preferred
- Familiarity with IEP processes and AAC devices is a plus
- Background in pediatric and teletherapy settings is advantageous
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, cognition, and swallowing to identify needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Utilize evidence-based techniques to provide therapy in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment as required
- Collaborate closely with educators, healthcare providers, and families to support holistic care
