Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting PreK students as a bilingual Spanish/English Speech-Language Pathologist. This full-time role focuses on making a positive impact in school-based settings for the 2026-2027 year. Providing direct and teletherapy services, you'll help children strengthen communication skills and collaborate closely with educators and families.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP license valid for work in California; CCC preferred, but strong CFY candidates considered
- Expertise in pediatric populations, ideally in PreK or school-based environments
- Skilled in delivering teletherapy services and adapting approaches for virtual learning
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, enabling support for diverse student groups
- Strong collaboration, case management, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in PreK students
- Develop tailored treatment plans, set measurable goals, and monitor progress
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions in-person and via teletherapy platforms
- Maintain detailed documentation and assessments in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Communicate regularly with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Provide culturally sensitive services, meeting the needs of both English and Spanish-speaking students and families
