Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current, valid SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, CFYs encouraged to apply
- Experience working in school settings and familiarity with the IEP process
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligning with students’ IEPs
- Provide direct therapy services one-on-one and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing progress updates and recommendations
- Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports per district and state requirements
- Educate school personnel and families on strategies to support communication needs
- Support a positive and inclusive learning environment
