Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Current SLP license (CCC or CFY) in good standing
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Background in providing teletherapy as well as in-person services
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and communication disorders
- Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for PreK populations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
- Ability to adapt to flexible caseloads and dynamic school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK students
- Design and implement individualized therapy plans focused on improving communication, language, and social skills
- Serve as a resource to teachers and families, providing consultation and training as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all state, federal, and school district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
- Balance teletherapy sessions and onsite services as required by the school
- Foster an inclusive, fun, and engaging therapeutic environment for young learners
This contract opportunity is based in the dynamic community near Glendale, CA, serving a PreK caseload at a single school location. Depending on your experience, you can earn between $48 and $60 per hour as you build your skills and help students thrive.
