This contract position offers you the unique opportunity to focus on early intervention and communication skills development, delivering direct and virtual therapy to students in a supportive school environment.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current SLP license (CCC or CFY) in good standing
  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
  • Background in providing teletherapy as well as in-person services
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development and communication disorders
  • Proficiency in assessment, treatment planning, and progress monitoring for PreK populations
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with colleagues, families, and support staff
  • Ability to adapt to flexible caseloads and dynamic school environments

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct screenings and comprehensive speech and language assessments for PreK students
  • Design and implement individualized therapy plans focused on improving communication, language, and social skills
  • Serve as a resource to teachers and families, providing consultation and training as needed
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with all state, federal, and school district guidelines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions
  • Balance teletherapy sessions and onsite services as required by the school
  • Foster an inclusive, fun, and engaging therapeutic environment for young learners

This contract opportunity is based in the dynamic community near Glendale, CA, serving a PreK caseload at a single school location. Depending on your experience, you can earn between $48 and $60 per hour as you build your skills and help students thrive.
