Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school-based setting desirable
  • Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Deliver direct and consultative therapy in individual and group settings
  • Track progress, document interventions, and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create supportive classroom environments
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
  • Contribute to ongoing professional development and school initiatives
