Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Current state licensure (or eligibility) as an SLP
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school-based setting desirable
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Deliver direct and consultative therapy in individual and group settings
- Track progress, document interventions, and maintain thorough records in compliance with school and state requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create supportive classroom environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations
- Contribute to ongoing professional development and school initiatives
