Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC or CFY) or SLP Assistant
- Experience in school or healthcare settings (preferred)
- Proficiency delivering direct and consultative speech/language therapy
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort with completing evaluations, developing IEP goals, and maintaining documentation
- Adaptability to both onsite and teletherapy service methods
- Passion for making a positive impact in the lives of children and adolescents
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, and implement therapy for students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to optimize individualized student support
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations
- Document progress and maintain records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Support students in both individual and group settings, tailoring interventions as needed
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal-setting
- Serve as a resource for staff and caregivers regarding communication development
