Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Goddard, KS

Position Overview

• Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Location: Goddard, KS 67052
• Setting: Public High School
• Employment Type: Contract
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• Student Day: 7:35 AM – 2:50 PM
• School Year: Full 2026–2027 School Year

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 40 high school students
• Support a low-incidence program serving students with mixed abilities and life skills needs
• Focus primarily on functional communication, with a smaller group of students receiving language and articulation services
• Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Complete documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Kansas SLP license (or ability to obtain before the start date)
• Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Compensation

• $48–$52 per hour, based on experience
