Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Full-Time | Goddard, KS

This opportunity offers the chance to work with a manageable caseload while helping high school students build functional communication skills that support their everyday success.
Position Overview
- Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Location: Goddard, KS 67052
- Setting: Public High School
- Employment Type: Contract
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
- Student Day: 7:35 AM – 2:50 PM
- School Year: Full 2026–2027 School Year
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to approximately 40 high school students
- Support a low-incidence program serving students with mixed abilities and life skills needs
- Focus primarily on functional communication, with a smaller group of students receiving language and articulation services
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Complete documentation and participate in IEP meetings as needed
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Kansas SLP license (or ability to obtain before the start date)
- Previous school-based experience is preferred but not required
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Compensation
- $48–$52 per hour, based on experience
