What you bring:

  • Valid state SLP license and relevant certification
  • Experience or enthusiasm for working in school settings (elementary, middle, or high school)
  • Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized speech/language therapy plans
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of speech and language needs
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine students’ individual requirements
  • Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and parents
  • Track student progress, maintain thorough documentation, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Consult and collaborate with educators and families to ensure effective support
  • Assist in shaping a positive, inclusive learning environment for all students
