Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active SLP license and relevant certification for the state of Colorado
  • Demonstrated experience in school settings, ideally serving a range of age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
  • Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
  • Comfortable conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language challenges
  • Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual and group needs
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support the IEP process
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists
  • Track and report student progress, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
  • Foster a supportive and encouraging environment in all interactions with students
