Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Active SLP license and relevant certification for the state of Colorado
- Demonstrated experience in school settings, ideally serving a range of age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
- Strong knowledge of speech, language, and communication disorders
- Comfortable conducting assessments, writing reports, and developing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for students with speech and language challenges
- Develop and implement evidence-based intervention plans tailored to individual and group needs
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and support the IEP process
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and fellow specialists
- Track and report student progress, ensuring compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines
- Foster a supportive and encouraging environment in all interactions with students
