Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Gonzales, Louisiana

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Valid state licensure and ASHA certification
• Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those with the CCC credential are encouraged to apply
• Previous experience in school or pediatric settings is a plus, but not required
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and provide therapy services to elementary-aged students (K-5)
• Develop and document goal-oriented, evidence-based treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to support student progress
• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with federal, state, and district requirements
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Advocate for students’ communication needs within the school community
