Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Tennessee
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status required
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, staff, and families
  • Ability and enthusiasm to work with a diverse caseload spanning grades 6–12
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable to changing needs

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations, screenings, and assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and implement evidence-based therapy
  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy for students with various communication and language disorders
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to maximize student progress and participation
  • Maintain detailed documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team discussions, and professional development opportunities
