Step into a rewarding role supporting preschoolers and the Child Find program as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the vibrant community near Goodyear, Arizona. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity begins August 2026 and runs through May 2027, playing a crucial part in helping students access the communication support they need to thrive.

As an SLP, you'll address a dynamic caseload split between preschoolers and Child Find evaluations. Some positions are evaluation-focused with a manageable caseload of approximately 30, while others may range up to 60, based on assessment responsibilities and student needs.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Active Arizona State Speech-Language Pathology License
  • Valid SLP Educator Certificate
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, current and valid
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience or strong interest in preschool or school-based settings
  • Flexibility to manage varying caseloads and diverse student populations
  • Exceptional communication and collaborative skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to preschool-aged children and students identified through Child Find
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations, develop and implement IEPs
  • Work closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain detailed records, data, and compliance with regulatory standards
  • Participate in meetings and contribute to a positive, supportive school climate
