Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
- Active SLP licensure for the state and ASHA certification (CCC).
- Previous school setting experience is a plus, though not mandatory; clinicians from clinical or other pediatric backgrounds are welcome.
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and language disorders for students in PreK through 8th grade.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans.
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to ensure comprehensive support for student progress.
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and state requirements.
- Participate in IEP meetings and give expert input on student needs, progress, and recommended strategies.
