In this pivotal role, you’ll provide direct services while covering a maternity leave for the current SLP during August through October. Key Qualifications:
- Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Relevant experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and goal setting
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate positively with educators, staff, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy to students in kindergarten through eighth grade
- Maintain and follow each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and document progress
- Communicate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings as needed to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage documentation and stay compliant with state and federal regulations
