Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). In this pivotal role, you’ll provide direct services while covering a maternity leave for the current SLP during August through October. Your expertise and compassion will ensure students continue to receive the high-quality support they need to thrive academically and socially.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
  • Relevant experience working in a school-based setting, preferably with K-8 students
  • Strong knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and goal setting
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate positively with educators, staff, and families

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver speech and language therapy to students in kindergarten through eighth grade
  • Maintain and follow each student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP)
  • Conduct assessments, write evaluation reports, and document progress
  • Communicate with teachers, staff, and families regarding student needs and progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Manage documentation and stay compliant with state and federal regulations
