Step into an impactful role supporting students’ communication needs in a vibrant educational setting for the 2026-2027 school year. This part-time contract opportunity begins August 24, 2026, and extends through June 10, 2027, including Extended School Year (ESY) dates. You’ll work primarily with students ages 3–18 with a mixed caseload, mostly mild to moderate needs, providing exceptional speech-language services across three different locations. This role offers a competitive pay range of $40–52 per hour, depending on experience.
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) or eligibility as a Clinical Fellow (CFY); SLPA applicants considered with the flexibility to work three days weekly for supervision
- Experience in pediatric, school-based, or healthcare settings preferred
- Skill in delivering teletherapy, as well as in-person interventions
- Strong collaboration and communication abilities with school staff and families
- Comfort managing a mixed-gravity caseload with children and adolescents
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students ages 3–18
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and session goals
- Deliver therapy both in-person and virtually, ensuring access and progress for all students served
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families
- Document progress and maintain detailed records according to school and state guidelines
- Travel between assigned school locations as needed
