Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to a dynamic K-12 school setting for the 2026 academic year! This contract opportunity begins August 18, 2026, and runs through June 10, 2027, offering a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday. You’ll work across multiple campuses, supporting students from kindergarten through high school, delivering quality speech and language therapy using both in-person and Voco/remote teletherapy practices.

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Previous experience providing speech therapy services in schools, especially K-12, is strongly desired
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy (Voco SLP) is a plus
  • Ability to adapt communication and treatment strategies to students of varied ages and abilities
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient with IEPs and education documentation

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with a wide range of communication disorders
  • Deliver both in-person and virtual speech-language services as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to develop individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, timely records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team goals
  • Provide mentorship and resources to school staff for student support strategies
