Key Qualifications:

  • Active and valid SLP license required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Prior experience working in school settings is highly preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Adaptable to shifting between different school environments and caseloads

Role Overview:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students at Liberty High School, Heritage Middle School, and potentially one additional district building
  • Primarily support students in specialized classrooms (ESC and BEST) at Liberty High School, with overflow caseload responsibilities at additional sites
  • Provide comprehensive assessments, develop individualized education programs (IEPs), and document progress
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver integrated support for student development
  • Work full-time, Monday through Friday, 9:00am – 4:40pm, rotating between sites as scheduled
  • Serve a combined caseload of approximately 11 students in specialized classrooms, with additional support for others as needed
