Step into a dynamic contract role serving Liberty High School, Heritage Middle School, and potentially another campus, helping learners unlock their full communication potential. This position offers full-time hours, working onsite from 9am to 4:40pm, Monday through Friday, in a collaborative, supportive school environment from late August through late May.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Hold a current state Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience within school-based settings preferred
  • Adaptable and comfortable traveling between two or more buildings during the week
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Passion for working with students in specialized learning environments, such as Extended Services Classrooms (ESC) and Behavioral and Emotional Support Teams (BEST)

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services tailored to students' IEP goals
  • Serve ESC/BEST students at Liberty High School three days weekly
  • Provide support for “overflow” needs at Heritage Middle School and another building as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and families to promote student success
  • Utilize assessment tools to evaluate communication needs and monitor progress
  • Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
