Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026/2027 school year. This important role involves providing overflow services across two elementary buildings, collaborating closely with the existing full-time and part-time SLPs. You will help ensure that all speech and language needs are met, making a significant impact on students’ academic and social success.
Key Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC certification
- Prior experience working within school settings, preferably with elementary-aged students
- Proficiency in evaluation, intervention, and IEP documentation for diverse student populations
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy style to meet the needs of various caseloads and collaborate with school staff
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students as assigned
- Assess students, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Maintain thorough records and progress documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to promote effective strategies in the classroom
- Contribute positively within the existing SLP team and broader school community
This part-time contract is scheduled for three days per week, following the school day from 8:44 AM to 3:40 PM, starting August 18th, 2026, through June 11th, 2027.
