School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | Grand Blanc, Michigan

Step into an enriching contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist in the Grand Blanc, MI area. This role is ideal for a dedicated SLP, CCC professional who thrives in educational settings and is passionate about fostering communication skills among diverse learners.

You will work onsite across four neighboring schools, providing direct services to students with speech and language needs. Each site serves approximately ten students, ranging from general education students requiring mild speech support to those on the spectrum or with cognitive challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in empowering students to reach academic and social milestones throughout the school year.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
• Valid state licensure for practice as an SLP in Michigan
• Recent experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
• Ability to design and implement evidence-based speech/language interventions
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language therapy services onsite
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) aligned with student needs
• Maintain thorough documentation of therapy sessions, assessments, and progress reports
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Provide input on strategies and supports to optimize student learning

This contract runs through June 2027, with a full-time 37.5-hour weekly schedule. Each day, you’ll remain at a single campus, offering stability and the chance to focus on individualized care.
