This part-time contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC credentials who enjoys working closely with adolescents. Whether preferring in-person interaction or virtual sessions, you’ll provide essential services to a small, manageable caseload at two schools conveniently located on the same campus.
Your expertise will help 12 students—six at the middle school level and six at the high school level—over the course of one dedicated day each week. If you thrive on strategic, focused casework and value a position that respects your work-life balance, this is an excellent fit.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Michigan
- Experience supporting middle and/or high school students preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Comfort with technology and virtual therapy platforms (if opting for remote work)
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide individual or group therapy to identified students
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop IEP goals that support student success
- Maintain thorough progress notes and contribute to IEP meetings as appropriate
- Deliver services either in-person on campus one day per week, or virtually
- Adapt clinical approaches to meet each student’s unique needs and learning environment
