Desired Qualifications:
- Current Speech-Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY
- Background in pediatric care, particularly in a school or healthcare setting
- Knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention techniques
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to foster student growth
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support progress and inclusion
- Contribute to IEP meetings, documentation, and progress reports
- Utilize a variety of engaging techniques tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
- Maintain records in accordance with school policies and professional standards
