This contract position offers an opportunity for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work with a diverse caseload, fostering student success and growth in a supportive educational environment. With an onsite facilitator available, you’ll have the resources you need to focus on delivering quality services and collaborating with educational staff.
Start your assignment in late summer and work through the school year, providing consistent and meaningful intervention from August 18, 2026, through June 11, 2027. You’ll be part of a team that values your expertise, offering a schedule that falls within 30 to 35 hours per week.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active CCC-SLP certification, or eligibility for CFY
- Experience or strong interest in working with high school students
- Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Responsibilities Include:
- Assessing and treating high school students with speech, language, and communication needs
- Creating and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Conducting screenings and evaluations as required by student IEPs
- Collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining accurate documentation
- Engaging in IEP meetings and providing input on student goals
