Key Qualifications:

  • Recent experience providing services in a school environment preferred
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to develop and implement effective IEPs
  • Commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized student care

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated support
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and required reports
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to the development of student goals and accommodations
  • Offer guidance and resources to families and staff regarding speech and language development
  • Provide both individual and small group therapy sessions
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education relevant to pediatric and school-based speech therapy
