The assignment spans the school year, beginning in early August and running through late May. What you’ll bring:

  • Current and valid Texas Speech-Language Pathology License (SLP)
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
  • Experience working in school-based settings strongly desired
  • Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adjust to different campus environments
  • Willingness to travel between up to two school sites if needed

Role specifics:

  • Provide speech-language services 37.5 hours per week at one or two assigned schools within a small, supportive district
  • Implement IEP goals, deliver direct therapy, and conduct evaluations and progress monitoring
  • Maintain thorough, timely records and submit a weekly timelog to the Director for approval
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and staff to foster student development
  • Ensure all workdays are documented as payment is contingent on attendance; no compensation for school closures or breaks
