Desired Background & Skills:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Eligibility for (or possession of) CCC-SLP or active Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- Consideration given to SLPAs with relevant school-based experience
- Experience with pediatric populations across K-12 strongly preferred
- Understanding of IEP writing, goal setting, and data collection
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with students, families, and colleagues
- State licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings
- Assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for a variety of speech-language and communication needs
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to goal development, document progress, and ensure compliance with state/federal regulations
- Partner with teachers, staff, and families to maximize student success
- Adapt therapy approaches for diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds
