A contract position is available for a CCC-SLP in a vibrant educational setting located near Grand Prairie, TX. This full-time assignment (40 hours per week) spans the entire academic year from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with some flexibility for part-time schedules should that better suit your needs.

Ideal Experience and Qualifications:

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure as required
  • Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
  • Proficiency in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and case management
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and participation in meetings
  • Supervisory experience, particularly with SLPAs (including both monolingual and bilingual professionals)
  • Effective communication skills with students, staff, families, and team members

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse caseload of students
  • Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through active participation in IEP meetings
  • Serve as Case Manager for students on your caseload, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide leadership and oversight to two SLPAs, ensuring high-quality services and mentoring both monolingual and bilingual staff members
  • Maintain thorough and compliant documentation according to district and regulatory standards
