A contract position is available for a CCC-SLP in a vibrant educational setting located near Grand Prairie, TX. This full-time assignment (40 hours per week) spans the entire academic year from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027, with some flexibility for part-time schedules should that better suit your needs.
Ideal Experience and Qualifications:
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
- Active state licensure as required
- Experience in school-based settings is highly valued
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations, re-evaluations, and case management
- Familiarity with IEP processes and participation in meetings
- Supervisory experience, particularly with SLPAs (including both monolingual and bilingual professionals)
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, families, and team members
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to a diverse caseload of students
- Conduct comprehensive speech-language evaluations and re-evaluations
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans through active participation in IEP meetings
- Serve as Case Manager for students on your caseload, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams
- Provide leadership and oversight to two SLPAs, ensuring high-quality services and mentoring both monolingual and bilingual staff members
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation according to district and regulatory standards
