This contract position, available immediately and running through the end of the school year, features a flexible hybrid schedule—four days on campus with one day remote each week. You'll play a crucial role in helping young learners strengthen their communication skills, working closely with teachers, families, and a dedicated educational team.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active Texas SLP license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Pediatric and school-based SLP experience preferred
- Familiarity with healthcare and IEP processes
- Strong organizational, time management, and communication abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver both direct and consultative speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload
- Conduct assessments, write and implement individualized education programs (IEPs), and monitor student progress toward goals
- Collaborate with educators and parents to maximize student support and outcomes
- Complete timely documentation including progress reports and Medicaid billing, as needed
- Contribute in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary conferences
