Qualifications:

  • Active and valid SLP license (state requirements must be met)
  • Experience or interest working with students in grades K-12
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized plans for students requiring speech and language services
  • Deliver therapy sessions—both individual and group—tailored to students in grades K-12
  • Work in partnership with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families
  • Maintain thorough documentation of service delivery, progress, and compliance in accordance with school policies
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource regarding communication disorders in the educational setting
  • Participate in IEP meetings and help craft effective interventions to promote student growth
