Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School Contract Position
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to work with students across multiple grade levels, ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade, within a school setting located in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role offers a chance to support students’ communication development in a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5, 6-8, and 9-12
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each student’s needs
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student success
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress and therapy services
- Implement evidence-based speech and language interventions in both individual and group settings
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with school-aged children across a wide grade range (K-12)
- Strong knowledge of speech and language development and related disorders
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
