Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current state SLP licensure or eligibility
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows considered
  • Experience providing speech and language services in a school or pediatric setting
  • Ability to create individualized educational plans (IEPs) and conduct assessments
  • Effective communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
  • Collaborative, organized, and driven to positively influence students’ development

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess students’ speech, language, and communication abilities using evidence-based tools
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Deliver direct therapy services in group and one-on-one sessions
  • Monitor, document, and share progress with teachers, parents, and administrators
  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team collaborations, and consultations
  • Support classroom teams with strategies for fostering communication in daily activities
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and continuing education
