Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status
- School experience preferred, but strong clinical SLP skills in other settings will be considered
- Comfortable working onsite and collaborating with educators, families, and team members
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans (IEPs) in accordance with best practices
- Provide direct therapy services to K-12 students based on identified needs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress
- Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer consultative services and resources to school staff and families as needed
- Stay current with professional development and evidence-based practices
