Key Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license (Illinois) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
- Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
- Proficiency with teletherapy and healthcare-related SLP delivery models
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passionate about helping young learners succeed
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide services using both in-person and teletherapy platforms as needed
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
- Participate in student assessments and IEP meetings
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate
