Key Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Valid SLP license (Illinois) and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
  • Previous pediatric and/or school-based experience preferred
  • Proficiency with teletherapy and healthcare-related SLP delivery models
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
  • Passionate about helping young learners succeed

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive speech and language therapy to elementary students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs)
  • Provide services using both in-person and teletherapy platforms as needed
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Maintain timely and accurate records in accordance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in student assessments and IEP meetings
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school climate
