Support and mentorship are available for new professionals completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), while experienced SLPs will find engaging caseloads and a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active or anticipated California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Ability to work with either SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
- Passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability within a school-based setting
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in elementary and middle school students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams to ensure student progress
- Document progress and maintain required records
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs
- Offer support and encouragement to students, fostering self-confidence and academic growth
