School Speech Language Pathologist - Grass Valley, CA

This contract opportunity is suited for Speech Language Pathologists at any stage, including SLP-CCCs and SLP-CFYs, who are enthusiastic about working within elementary and middle school settings. Both full-time and part-time options make this position adaptable to various schedules. Support and mentorship are available for new professionals completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), while experienced SLPs will find engaging caseloads and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Active or anticipated California SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Ability to work with either SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credentials
• Passion for supporting students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
• Creative problem-solving and adaptability within a school-based setting

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in elementary and middle school students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and educational teams to ensure student progress
• Document progress and maintain required records
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student needs
• Offer support and encouragement to students, fostering self-confidence and academic growth
