Step into a rewarding opportunity as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position offers a full-time, 35-hour-per-week schedule from August 17, 2026, through June 4, 2027. You'll support a caseload of approximately 55 students across either Scotten Elementary, Bell Hill Academy (K-4), Lyman Gilmore Middle School (5-8), and homeschool/private school students. Enjoy a consistent weekday routine from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with a half-hour unpaid lunch, allowing you to maintain a balanced workday.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
  • Active state licensure (or eligibility) as required for school-based practice
  • Experience or strong interest in working with elementary and middle school students
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapy plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
  • Deliver direct therapy services, both individually and in groups, using evidence-based methods
  • Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Provide consultation, resources, and strategies for faculty, families, and support staff
