School Speech Language Pathologist - Grass Valley, California

This full-time, contract opportunity places you at one dedicated elementary site, where you’ll work closely with a well-defined caseload of approximately 40-45 students spanning transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. The contract runs 160-170 days, giving you the chance to support students’ growth and communication development throughout the school year.

Compensation for this assignment falls within the $60–$70 per hour range, reflecting both your expertise and the vital service you’ll provide to the school community.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
• Valid CA Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain before start
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CF) will be considered
• Prior experience serving school-aged children, ideally in an educational setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Comfort creating IEPs, implementing therapy, and collaborating with multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy to students in grades TK-5
• Conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage student caseloads in accordance with IEPs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and learning
• Maintain all required records and compliance documentation
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute as a valued team member
