Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Holds current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC).
  • Valid state license for practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Demonstrated experience working with children in a school or pediatric setting, particularly at the elementary level.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with teachers, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address articulation, language, fluency, and voice disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments for elementary-aged students.
  • Develop personalized therapy plans and deliver effective, evidence-based interventions tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers and special education professionals to support student learning and inclusion.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and Individualized Education Program (IEP) reports.
  • Offer consultation to parents and staff regarding strategies for developing students’ communication abilities.
  • Participate in team and IEP meetings, providing input to support holistic student development.
