A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based contract position in Grayling, MI, starting ASAP and ending June 12, 2026. This role involves providing comprehensive speech and language services to students ranging from early intervention through high school. The ideal candidate will have experience in pediatric speech therapy and be comfortable working across various age groups.
Responsibilities include conducting evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and delivering therapy in both school and community settings. The position may require home visits and preschool site visits, supporting a diverse population of children with communication disorders. Teletherapy experience is a plus, enhancing service delivery options.
Key qualifications and skills:
- Certification as an SLP, with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) highly preferred
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy and school-based settings
- Ability to work with early intervention through high school age groups
- Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and remote therapy services
- Comfort and flexibility conducting home visits and preschool-based therapy
- Completion of CFY (Clinical Fellowship Year) or equivalent supervised experience
