School Speech Language Pathologist - Grayling, Michigan

Make a difference in the lives of students as a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist supporting PreK through 12th grade learners for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity runs from August 24th to June 11th, offering a chance to work closely with a diverse caseload of approximately 50 students. You will collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to foster communication success across a variety of age groups.

What We’re Looking For:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Experience— or a strong interest—in K-12 school settings
• Solid knowledge of IEP development, progress monitoring, and evidence-based therapy techniques
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and communication skills
• Up-to-date state licensure as required for school-based practice

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments for students PreK–12
• Develop and implement individualized speech and language treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress and success
• Maintain detailed documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Encourage and motivate students to develop communication and social skills in both individual and group settings
• Provide support and resources to families and school teams as needed
